where

gn = Number of credits earned in the ith course of a semester for which SGPA is to be calculated.
n = The no. of subjects ‘registered’ for the semester
wn = Grade point earned in the ith course.

where

gn = Number of credits earned in the jth course of the Programme for which CGPA is to be calculated
n = The total no. of subjects (as specifically required and listed under the course structure of the parent department) the student has ‘registered’ i.e., from the 1st semester onwards up to and inclusive of the 8th semester,
wn = Grade point earned in the semesters

Award of Degree

A student shall be deemed to have completed the degree requirements , if the student has:

pursued the prescribed courses of study and has earned 96 credits as prescribed under the relevant regul ation s with out 'F' or 'Ab' in any course.
obtained a minimum CGPA of 5.00 in case of MBA, MCA , LLM , MEd, MPEd, and other professional PG Programmes or minimum CGPA of 3.6 in case of MA, MSc , MCom, MJMC , MVA, MHA , MPH , MPS, MSW and other similar Programmes
