The formula to calculate SGPA in RTU

The formula to calculate CGPA in RTU

- NCj is the number of total credits offered in the ith semester,
- SGj is the SGPA earned in the jth semester, where i = 1,2,….

If a candidate remains absent or obtains zero marks in any of the external components of theory or practical. In that case, the student will be awarded an 'F' grade, respectively, and will be required to appear in the subsequent back examinations.

RTU CGPA to Percentage
As per the document, the formula was approved in 2015 and the official link of Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.
The Formula:
The formula to convert CGPA to percentage is straightforward:
$$ \text{Percentage} = (\text{CGPA} \times 10) - 0.75 $$For example, if the CGPA is 7.9, then the percentage would be:
$$ \text{Percentage} = (\text{7.9} \times 10) - 0.75 = 78.25\% $$CGPA to Percentage conversion for B.Tech course in Engineering & Technology.
For students admitted in session (2018-2019) and onwards. Also, for the students admitted in session 2017-18, from second year onwards.
$$ \text{Percentage} = (\text{CGPA} \times 10)$$For example, if the CGPA is 6.9, then the percentage would be:
$$ \text{Percentage} = (\text{6.9} \times 10) = 69.00\% $$
